Adult Day Center – Lunch Time Coordinator (PT)

JOB SUMMARY: Provide oversight of the lunch time experience for our members.


  • Professional or personal experience in working with the population served by our Adult Day Center
  • Professional or personal experience in food preparation and understanding of basic nutrition and special needs of the elderly is preferred


  • Effective interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a team setting
  • Ability to handle crisis in a calm, focused manner


  • Oversee members’ dietary restrictions
  • Ensure safe handling and storage of food
  • Ensure and carry out company policy on sanitary food handling
  • Supervise lunch time volunteers
  • Maintain kitchen sanitation practices
  • Manage supplies related to kitchen: check, order, and restock
  • Bi-monthly food shopping for incidentals such as coffee time and snack time foods
  • Promote the ADC in the community when possible
  • Other duties as assigned
